Comment
A young man (Hywell Bennett) is treated as a child by his mother, his step father (Frank Finlay) wants him out of the house and he has a brother with Down's syndrome. He alternates between two personalities and as the child like person he meets a young woman (Hayley Mills) by chance and then invites himself to stay with her and her family despite the reservations of her mother (Billie Whitelaw). It soon becomes apparent that he has psychotic tendencies. Hywell Bennett gives a good performance as they young man with mental health problems and Hayley Mills shows her beauty, charm and gives a better performance than in her Disney films. .
