Comment
An undercover FBI agent (Shawn Christian) takes a cocktail waitress (Jamie Gertz) into protective custody. However his mother (Tyne Daly) persuades him to come home so he takes her with him. There is the inevitable culture clash as the poor cocktail waitress meets a family with money, even though it is a dysfunctional family, and her charm wins over an initially sceptical family. Jamie Gertz gives a good performance as the working girl being thrust into society and Tyne Daly gives a solid performance as the family matriarch.
