Comment/Synopsis

A woman (Evelyn Venable) working in a department store office is planning on marrying the stiff and stuffy son of the owner of the store, but her emotions are upset when his free-wheeling brother (Robert Young) arrives after sailing around the world for 6 years. The main weakness of this film is that the characters are not really well written. Evelyn Venable's character jumps from strong to complaining to emotionally inconsistent. Whilst her performance is the best of the cast she struggles against the script. The scene where she and Robert Young fight on his yacht seems quite incongruous.
