On the death of her father a woman takes on the role of queen of a British tribe during the Roman occupation of Britain. She falls in love with the Roman soldier in charge, but there is rebellion brewing from the Druids and ambitious Roman soldiers. This is Hammer films trying a sword and sandles type film with their usual mix of scantilly clad women and and blood and violence. The script is not great and not one of Hammer's better films.
