A teenage boy (Shane West) has the hots for the most popular girl (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) in the school when her boyfriend says that he really fancies the girl (Marla Sokoloff) who has been the boys friend for years, so they agree to help each other get the girl of their dreams. This is a mix of teen film with a prom and a nod to Cyrano de Bergerac. The teen parts work less well with the best parts being the scenes between Marla Sokoloff and Shane West.
