A soldier (Jack Buchanan) is recalled from India to take over his title and inheritence. The family are stuffy and boring, except for his cousin (Fay Wray) who is beautiful. He tries various ploys to attract her. The plot is very thin, including the section when he goes back to being a knight in armour. The scenes where he sings and dances are also incongruous. Fay Wray brings elegance to an otherwise uninspiring film.
