Comment/Synopsis

Alan Bates is a murderer on the run hiding in a barn on a fram in northern Britain who is discovered by Hayley Mills and her two sibings. They think he is Jesus come back to earth and try to hide him from the adults. This film is much better tan the plot sounds. Richard Attenborough has produced a film that reflects a more innocent world and is well filmed, nicely lit and has a good sound track from Malcolm Arnold. This is well acted by both the children and the supporting adults.
