A woman (Sarah Padden) and her daughter (June Bennett) live on the town rubbish dump next door to a successful business. When the owner of the business (William Mong) dies a reporter (Isabel Withers) discovers that the young girl is actually the illegitimate daughter of the woman and the businessman and so will inherit his fortune. Several years later the daughter (Gloria Shea) is a successful tennis player and the mother runs the company well, but then a couple (Mae Busch and Dewey Robinson) turn up and claim the daughter is actually their daughter. This is a well played out drama with a nice twist at the end. There is a good central performance fom Sarah Padden and Isabel Withers injects some energy into the film as the reporter.
