A woman (Norma Shearer) discovers that her husband is having an affair with a gold digging woman (Joan Crawford) from the perfume counter of a department store. As her life falls apart, the lives, loves and affairs of her socialite friends intertwine with emotional entanglements. This is an entertaining comic film with a strong all female cast.
