Malcolm St Clair was a film director who directed both silent films and sound films. His silent films initially worked with Mack Sennettat Triangle films and this included a couple of films with Buster Keaton. He then worked for Warner Brothers and then Columbia Pictures. At Columbia her worke with some of the leading actors of the time (Louise Brooks and Clara Bow). Although most of his work was in silent films he did direct a number of sound films, mainly for Twentieth Century Fox, including a few with Laurel and Hardy.
