An atomic submarine is sent to the north pole to investigate the loss of several submaries only to find the cause is an underwater flying saucer. This is typical of 1950's cheap science fiction films with poor visual effects and stilted acting and dialogue.Tom Conway was towards the end of his career when he made this film and this was one of his weaker performances. The setting being underwater and mainly on a submarine makes this different from many similar films of the time.
