Four men are in Italy waiting for a boat to be repaired so they can travel to Africa to get some cheap land that has deposits of uranium under it. They meet an English couple who may or may not be what they seem and the situation becomes convoluted. There are solid performances from Humphrey Bogart and Jennifer Jones but Robert Morley is good ranging from the comic to the menacing. It also has good support from Gina Lollobrigida in an early English language performance.
