After years in a mental asylum, a man (John Barrymore) escapes and return to his home only to find his wife (Billie Burke) has divorced him and is about to remarry and his daughter (Katherine Hepburn) is also about to get married. This was Katharine Hepburn's first film with RKO and with George Cukor. Her comment was that she was presented in the film rather than appeared in the film and this was down to director George Cukor.
