A couple (David Manners and Julie Bishop) on honeymoon in Hungary have an accident in a bus on the way to their hotel and are taken by a doctor (Bela LUgosi) to a strange castle where a man (Boris Karloff) running a cult lives and has designs on all of them. This is loosely based on an Edgar Allan Poe story but lacks suspense despite an early pairing of Karloff and Lugosi.
