The police chief (Susan Sarandon) of a small Canadian town starts investigating a murder and then realises that she has a serial killer on her hands.The plot is not anything special and Susan Sarandon's character as a pill popping, hard drinking police woman is not particularly engaging. It is a film that has the feel of could have been better given the presence of Susan Sarandon, DOnald Sutherland and Ellen Burstyn.
