During the second world war, a man (Chris Evans) fails his medical to join the army but is then recruited by a special division to take part in an experiment. When it goes goes wrong he is turned into a super fighter and becomes the eponymous Captain America. He then goes on a mission to stop a Nazi inspired group who plan to take over the world. This is a super hero film with the expected action and CGI, which is helped by a reasonable story and a strong cast.
