An ambitious junior book editor agrees to find the ideal boyfriend for her boss based on a list of characteristics in return for a promotion. Problems arise when she falls in love with the man chosen for her boss and unknown to her, he is actually her favorite author who is supposed to be writing a book for her boss. This has the typical made for television romance plot though Natalie Dreyfuss has a pleasant charm and Hannah Levien is suitably catty as the jealous co-worker.
