Kenneth Banagh is a private detective who takes on the case of a woman (Emma Thompson) with amnesia. She has flash backs to 50 years earlier when a pianist was stabbed to death with scissors by her husband. Keneth Branagh and Emma Thompson are excellcent in playing both the contempory and 1940's roles.
