Two people meet whilst out Christmas shopping and fall for each other, but before they can exchange phone numbers they part after the power goes off in the shop they are in. They then spent the time up to Christmas trying to find each other. The story has all the usual plot tricks of meeting each others family and friends and just missing each other, but is still pleasantly entertaining.
