This is the second of the original trilogy of Star Wars films and continues the high standard of action and effects from the previous films. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamil) stops his training in the Force to rescue Hans Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) who have been captured by Darth Vader and the Empire. In many ways this film made the Star Wars franchise as it created a broader and darker scoe to the characters.
