A farmer tries to marry his daughter (Mabel Normand) off to the son (Al St John) of the local land owner in exchange for the mortgage on the farm, but instead she runs away with the farm hand (Roscoe Arbuckle) who is her lover. This film has some some fairly basic slapstick comedy and is not one of the better films from Fatty Arbuckle and Mabel Normand.
