In the lead up to the Spanish Armada Queen Elizabeth hsa to deal with political intrigue at home and assasination plots being organised by the Spanish King. This film has a strong British cast but is let down by a poor story line that is loosely based on history and is very wordy with limited action. There are better versions of the Queen Elizaabeth story.
