Comment/Synopsis

An aspiring actor falls in love with a beautiful rich woman. As he is poor and a misunderstanding means she rejects him, so he hires a killer to kill himself. However his situation changes and he has to try and stop the killer. This is an early comedy from Douglas Fairbanks, with the first half of the film the more dramatic part with some naturalistic acting from Douglas Fairbanks and the supporting cast of Jewel Carmen as his love interest and Dorothy Haydel as her friend. The second half is a series of chase sequences an0d introduces the more comic elements into the film.
