Comment/Synopsis

The life and drama's of a cattle rancher over two generations in Texas. THis is a long (over 3 hours) and spraling epic of two generations of a cattle rancher (Rock Hudson) and a rival oil tycoon (James Dean). THe acting is good and it recieved three acting Oscar nominations, but the film is over long and drawn out despite dealing with attitudes to women and and race.
