Comment/Synopsis
A young woman and her friend escape from her familyand she gets a job as show girl but is intend on marrying a rich man whilst her friend has affairs with poor men. This is a light, frothy romantic comedy and the first film of Jean Harlow made under the Hays Code. Whilst Jean Harlow is good in the lead it does suffer from the constraints of the Code, that clearly inhibit the more sexual nature that could have been in some of the scenes from the original Anita Loos screen playplay.
