A chef (Dylan Neal) is employed to buy an old restaurant chefs book at auction, but it is sold before auction and the buyer is found dead, so he and his policeman (Brooke Burns) friend investigate. This is one in a series films with Dylan Neal as the gourmet chef and amateur detective solving crimes with a professional policewoman Brooke Burns. This is a typical made for television mystery though Brooke Burns is not convincing as a detective, however the plot is better than most in this series.
