A woman (Lacey Chabert) breaks up with her boyfriend and so returns home for Christmas only to discover that her parents are going away for Christmas and leaving her to take over all their roles on the neighbourhood Christmas committee. The story line is very thin but Lacey Chabert has a gentle charm. The main problem is various other characters are not very pleasant.
