On Christmas eve a young man (Harry Langdon) has to leave home when his father brings home a woman who is to become his new mother (Madeline Hurlock), but she leaves him for a richer man and the young man meets her again when he gets his new job as a taxi driver. As with a lot of Harry langdon shorts, the plot is nonsense and just an excuse to have a series of visual jokes, including in this case a scene with the Sennett bathing beauties.
