A singer (Jodie Sweetin) inherits a foundation that takes on cases for people who cannot help themselves. Her first case leads her into danger when she investigates the apparent suicide years earlier of a teenager's mother. This is a different variation on the amateur detective investigating a crime. The plot is reasonable but the character of Jodie Sweetin is not really convincing either as a singer or as a detective.
