Jungle Jim (Johnny Weissmuller) rescues a photographer (Sheila Ryan) who is on an expedition to find a famous football player missing in the jungle. They then go off to rescue a tribe being forced into slave labour to make synthetic diamonds for a white man and have a series of adventures along the way. This is typical of the Jungle Jim series of films, though why one of the characters looks like he comes from Easy Rider (white tee shirt and black leather jacket) I am not sure but Sheila Ryan injceets somw beauty and charisma into the film.
