Comment
During the third crusade, King Richard heads up a Christian army from various countries against the army of Saladin. However he is beset by people trying to usurp his power and deal with Saladin and defend the honour a woman. This is slow, wordy and uninspiring version of the Crusade story. Virgiinia Mayo brings elegance to her role, but, like the other characters they are too bland for even good actors to do somthing with.
