In a future world that is being flooded by rising sea water, James Brolin and his two sons (Ian Somerhalder and Jamie Thomas King) are commissoned by the Vatican to find a fabled septre dating back to the time of Moses that will stop the rising water. However Ben Cross is also after the septre and recruits Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend but for he has a less altruistic reason for finding it. This is a surprising entertaining TV movie that is better produced than most
