A plane with 5 Europeans crashes in the Himalyas and are rescued by the people of Shangri-La. A world were everything is seemingly perfect, but not all of them can cope or want to stay in that world. The film was expensive to make but did eventaully make a profit. The film is based on the novel by James Hilton.
