At the end of the 19th century in Paris a man (Anton Diffing) is 104 years old thanks to a gland implant every 10 years, but when his mentor cannot do the surgery, he persuades another surgeon (Christopher Lee) to do the operation and kidnapping his girlfriend (Hazel Court). Anton Diffing is suitably menacing as the man who will do anything including murder to stay alive for ever. Hazel Court has little to do appart from appearing in a variety of dresses.
