A man from one prehistoric tribe meets up with a woman from another tribe and they both learn from each other as they struggle to survive in the harsh environment. The film contrasta the different life styles of the two tribes, one selfish and violent and the other sharing and peaceful, but in the end both nedd each other. There are good performances from Victor Mature and Carole Landis wearing very little and having only grunts as dialogue. THe effects of the monsters are well done for the time the film was made.
