A woman reconnects with her former boyfriend after he returns from a successful naval career. Meanwhile she also has a new suitor after the family name. A reworking of the Jane Austen novel. This is an entertaining version of the novel, but it does suffer from the usual Netflix problems of lcak of historical authenticity and inappropriate politcal correctness. If you can get past those then Dakota Johnson is good in the lead role.
