A group of football supporters travel from Manchester to London. The shy one in the group accepts a bet that he can sleep with a woman they meet in a club. The bulk of the film comprises the verbal interplay between harry H Corbett as the innocent man and Diane Cilento as the alluring worldly wise prostitute. The highlight of the film is the performance from Diane Cilento.
