A man who is a cinema projectionist dreams of being a detective and has a fantasy of solving a crime whilst he is falsely accused of stealing a watch from his girl friends father. This is one of Buster Keaton's best feature length comedies. There are some good funny examples of physical comedy as well as some good film work as he climbs into a film and is transported into different scenes. For the time it is a relatively comples fantasy within a fantasy that shows off Buster Keaton's creative mind.
