A rich young woman (Sally Blane) who is engaged to a man approved by her family is bored on a cruise ship and meets a group of friends from second class and falls in love with one of them. Her family do all they can to break up their relationship. The plot is a typical love across the classes from the 1930's that is nothing original, but a solid performance from Sally Blane as the woman trying to decide between love and her family.
