Comment/Synopsis Two naval men are best friends but one of them marries a woman and whilst he is away she has an affair with his best friend without either of them realising who the other is. This is an early silent Frank Capra films that develops the relationships well and also gives a good tense and claustraphoic experience of the men trapped in the submarine. Dorothy Revier gives the best acting performance for a character with dubious morals. It was remade in 1937 as Devil's Playground.
