When her small chld is taken into foster care she break her small time crook husband out of jail, even though he will soon be released, to take back their child. Things do not go as planned and they end up kidnapping a policeman. The plot has its weaknesses. How a pair of losers could string along the police for so long and why are they followed by the longest line of police cars ever seen on film. This is notable for being an early Steven Spielberg film.
