A Scotland Yard police inspector goes to New York to investigate the strenge goings on in a house by the Fuzz Faced Phantom. This is a madcap mixture of farce, slapstick, trick photography and stop motion animation. This is a facinating film that has some elements that would become part of surealism and the effects are in places a homage to early trick film makers. This is one of his best films and shows his undoubted comic skills and the ability to seemlessly mix live action and stop motion animation.
