Following a series of bank robberies that the authorities cannot find the culprit for and must have an inside accomplice, the President of America asks a naval lieutenant (Robert Taylor) to go undercover and find the culprits. He infiltrates the gang by becoming a criminal and also falls for the step sister (Barbara Stanwyck) of one of the gang. This is not a great film, but the highlight is the performance of Barbara Stanwyck who shows the range and quality of her acting skills.
