A woman (Thelma Todd) is having an affair (Roland Young) whilst her husband (Cary Grant) is at the Olympics, but he returns early and discovers two train tickets for Venice. So to cover up the affair he says he is married and has to find a woman (Lili Damita) to pretend to be his wife and they all go to Venice with comic and romantic consequences. This is an entertaining romantic comedy with good performances from the main lead characters.
