Career / Biography

Thelma Todd appeared in over 100 films in the 1920's and 1930's in both silent films and talkies and was particularly known for her comedy roles. She appeared in a variety of Hal Roach films and appeared in films with Laurel and Hardy, Buster Keaton and The Marx Brothers. Her career was cut short when she was found dead in suspicious circumstances at the age of only 29. At the time she was having an affair with RoOland West who was married to Jewel Carmen at the time.
