A man (Ray Millard) and his sister (Ruth Hussey) buy a house on a cliff top on the spur of the moment only to find that the house is haunted and the object of the haunting is a young woman (Gail Russell) who is related to the previous owners. However the family relationships of the previous owners are complicated and the cause of the haunting. This is a good atmospheric ghost story with strong performances from Ray Millard and Ruth Hussey as well as good support from Gail Russell as the troubled woman.
