Gail Russell was an actress in films in the 1940's nd 1950's. Most of her early films were for Paramount Pictures. She lacked confidence and suffered from stage fright which she coped with by drinking alcohol, but unfortunately this had an adverse effect on her career and led to her early death at the age of 36. She had a 5 year marriage to Guy Madison.
