Lucille Ball started her career as a model but is best known as an actress and a comedian. She is remembered as an actress in the television series I Love Lucy with her huusband Desi Arnaz. She also ran a successful television studio (Desilu) that produced several popular series (Mission Impossible, Star Trek). She started her career as contract player for RKO that led to FOllow The Fleet and other major roles.
