Comment/Synopsis

A wild young woman (Clara Bow) brought up on a Texas ranch, is sent to school in Chicago and then moves into society where she continues her wild ways. A sham marriage, getting pregnant, having several failed relationship and a violent temper makes her start to re-examine her life. This film shows why Clara Bow was such a big star in the 1920's and early 1930's as it shows the range of her abilities, and has a number of scenes that are very definitely pre-code, not least some of her revealing outfits and the gay bar. This was not a commercial success, as Clara Bow was getting to the end of her career, mainly due to off screen problems.
