In a far corner of the galaxy a man (Chris Pratt) steals a mysterious orb, but when he tries to sell it the man (Benecio Del Toro) will not buy because the man behind an evil power in the galaxy is after tthe orb. He joins up with a woman (Zoe Saldana) who has changed sides, a criminal (Dave Bautista), a geneticcally engineered rodent (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and a creature derived from a tree (voiced by Vin Diesel).This is a violent and also comic adventure of a mismatched group thrown together to save the galaxy, that is well made and has effects that add to the story rather than detracts from it.
